Retired librarian and author
Phyllis Goodman is a retired adult services librarian whohas worked more than twenty-five years in public library services andeducation. She took a special interestin senior programming in her last position, when asked to provide programmingfor seniors who were not able to visit the library. Finding programming resources scarce, shecreated fun and educational programs to stimulate and inform older adults. She was involved in staff training, thereader’s advisory committee and wrote for the library blog. In 2020 her first book, On the Go with SeniorServices: Library Programs for Any Timeand Any Place was published by ABC-CLIO. She enjoys traveling, cooking and books.
