Lisa Hooper, Director, Council on Aging, Marblehead, MA
Lisa Hooper has over thirty-five years of work experience in both the private and non-private sectors. Seventy percent of her experience has been working with seniors in settings such as in-home health care, geriatric care management, medical adult day care, and the council on aging. Since she began her role as Director at the MHD COA, she has transformed the COA’s image from a “bingo” warehouse to a vibrant, all inclusive senior center that promises healthy aging by providing programs and services to promote physical and mental fitness, nutrition, socialization, and access to medical care. Lisa holds a Master's degree in Gerontology from the University of Mass, Boston and Bachelors of Science degree in Management from Leslie University.
