Assistant Director, Southborough Public Library
Kim Ivers is the Assistant Director and also in charge of the Children’s Room at the Southborough Library. She has been at the library for over 27 years as a full time employee but actually started at the age of nine volunteering in the Children’s Room. After working as a library page in high school, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education, then went to Simmons for her MLS. She joined the library as a full time staff member right after college and has held the positions of Library Assistant, Children’s Librarian, Interim Director, and Director, before settling into her current role.
