Dennis King

Police Chief, Marblehead, MA
Dennis King is a twenty-six-year Law Enforcement professional experienced in police administration, community engagement, mental health, substance use, use of force, and complex investigations. Holds a Master and Bachelor’s degrees in criminal justice from Salem State University and a law degree from the Massachusetts School of Law. Has been collaborating with community stakeholders on tough issues for years and willing to institute non traditional police strategies to address them. Recently completed work on Marblehead’s Speak out Against Hate Panel discussion with the ADL and Salem’s Race Equity Task Force and several other social justice initiatives.
